Colours can hold a lot of hidden meaning from a decorating standpoint. Red, by way of example, is frequently used to stimulate hunger, blue is viewed as a relaxing color, and yellow is supposed to make us feel happier. Our preferences of those colors can reveal a lot about our own personalities, specifically when we use them to decorate the walls of our private sanctuary: our bedrooms. What color you paint your bedroom may reveal a lot about who you are, so can the colour, saturation, and brightness of every hue. |} What exactly does your bedroom color reveal about you?

We have enlisted Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute and author of publication Colours for Your Every Mood, to break things down to us, color by color.|}

Yellow is luminous and warm and so are the people who prefer it," says Eiseman. |} They adore innovation and creativity.

Shades of the purple household are usually preferred by people who have a highly creative streak, and Lilac fans hope for uniqueness but lean into the more sentimental, softer side of purple.

"Blue fans are totally dedicated to the color. If darker blues are your favorites, you would like the colors that feel as the descending twilight hourssilent , peaceful and thoughtful."

"Lighter blues are always connected with the sky and water--clean, clean, open and expansive would explain the way you prefer to feel on your surroundings." |}

"Teal blues have a tad more elegance due to their thickness. The person who prefers this color likes the complexity [it], as it shows personality elements that combine both blue and green traits"

"Red requires attention, and thus does the lover of red. It is dynamic, impossible to dismiss, impulsive and extroverted--attributes which might well explain the person who's drawn to this intense and enthusiastic shade."

"Although pink is descended in the'mother shade' of red, it is not as ardent and demanding attention and more likely to romance and tenderness--the perfect description of a pink lover's proclivities."

"Green folks love nature's most omnipresent and versatile colour. It is the best equalizer between warm and cool tones, and in the presence of green, they locate the equilibrium they always strive for."

"The person who prefers gray seeks safety and security by picking this most neutral of all colors. Gray doesn't demand or always need the promise of excitement, but does crave contentmentand equilibrium ."

"Orange fans work and play hard, are adventuresome and excited . In spite of the inherent energy in orange, the people who adore this amiable colour are more pleasing than aggressive."

"The lightest variation of beige, brown is imbued with a certain sense of substance and equilibrium .
Beige fans appreciate the subtlety of the color, enjoying the warmth. .
